Sign-up process FAQs - before you begin:
  • Sign-up takes about 5 minutes from start to finish. Make sure you have your credit card ready and that you won't be interrupted during the sign-up process.
  • You will time out after 10 minutes if you leave the sign-up process prematurely. If you get locked out from registration, you have 3 options for continuing:
    • Wait 1 hour and then sign up again with the same email address
    • Sign up again right away with a different email address
    • Contact GoGrid immediately to have your session re-set
  • You must use a valid, physical credit card. We accept American Express, Discover, MasterCard, or Visa. We do not accept virtual "E-cards" and pre-paid cards.
  • Do not use your browser's Back button to make changes. If you do, the sign-up process will fail, depending on your web browser. Most sign-up errors we see are caused by using the Back button during the sign-up process.
  • Your email address is your User ID and can only be used for one account. Multiple accounts will require multiple email addresses.
  • Choose your email address carefully. Your email address can only be used to create one account. If you have an existing account with GoGrid, you must choose a new email address.
  • If you are signing up from outside the United States, only the Address, City, and Country fields are required. Please do not select a State/Province.
  • You must have a valid phone number. We will authenticate your sign-up with a phone call or text. If you don't respond, we won't activate your account.
  • Please do not use 1-800 or 1-888 numbers, VoiP or Prepaid numbers.
  • Avoid using special characters (diacritics) and lengthy addresses where possible.
  • After you've successfully signed up with GoGrid, you'll receive a confirmation email with instructions for accessing your account. Once you have a new account, you may add services, add users, change your password, and create Support requests; however, you won't be able to change the User ID email.
